Use the top menu for the main travel maps and route tools: Camping, Attractions, Flattest Route, Low Bridges and Weather Center. Use the bottom menu for Trip Planner, Services, Help and Contact. If you are looking for a place to camp or stop overnight, start with Camping. If you are planning a complete trip with several stops, start with Trip Planner.

Open Camping and allow location access when your phone asks for permission. Wehamba will use your location to center the map near you. If the map is showing another area, tap My Location to return to your current area.

Use the Search Park, Town or City box on the map. Begin typing the place name and choose the correct suggestion when it appears. The map will move to that area so you can browse locations there.

Open Categories & Map Legends. Turn on the location types you want to see and turn off the ones you do not need. This also helps explain what the different map markers represent.

Choose Allow if you want features such as My Location, nearby camping, weather and nearby services to use your current position. If you previously denied permission, you may need to enable location access for Wehamba in your phone settings.

No. Each tool works independently. You can simply browse the Camping map, search Attractions, check Weather, look for Nearby Services, or build a complete trip in Trip Planner. Use only the tools you need.

Open Trip Planner from the bottom menu. Enter your Starting Point and Destination. As you type, choose the correct location from the suggestions. When both fields are filled, tap Plan Route. Wehamba must create the route before it can search for places along the way.

Wehamba draws your route from the starting point to the destination. Once the route is visible, choose how far you are willing to travel off the route and select the types of locations you want to find.

After the route is displayed, choose the allowed miles off route and select one or more categories. Then tap Find Locations. Wehamba will search along your route and show matching places. If you want more choices, increase the miles off route or select additional categories and search again.

Tap a location marker or result to review the available information. You can look at the location details first and decide whether it belongs in your trip. You do not have to add every place Wehamba finds.

When you find a location you want to visit or stay at, tap Add to Trip. The location becomes part of your planned trip. You can continue using Find Locations and add additional stops before saving.

The letters show the travel order. A is the starting point, the middle letters are the stops you added, and the final point is your destination. When available, Wehamba also shows the distance to the next stop to help you plan each travel segment.

Yes. Select Attractions in the Trip Planner category list, tap Find Locations, review the Attractions found along your route and use Add to Trip for the ones you want to visit.

After the route and stops look the way you want, tap Save Trip. The current trip is saved on this device so you can return to it later. Saving is a good idea before leaving the planner or beginning your drive.

Tap Directions for the stop you are ready to drive to. Wehamba opens Google Maps for normal turn-by-turn navigation. After reaching that stop, return to Wehamba and tap Directions for the next stop.

Tap the X beside the Start or Destination field to clear that location, then enter the new place and select the correct suggestion. Plan the route again after making the change.

Use Clear Trip when you want to remove the current route and planned stops and begin again. Then enter a new Starting Point and Destination and tap Plan Route.

The search may be too narrow. Increase the allowed miles off route, select more location categories, then tap Find Locations again. Some areas naturally have fewer matching locations than others.

The Camping map is the main place to browse RV parks, public camping and selected overnight-stop categories. Move around the map or search a different town to explore places before or during your trip.

Each marker represents a type of camping or overnight location. Open Categories & Map Legends to see the available categories and their marker symbols, and to choose which types you want displayed.

Tap a marker on the map. Wehamba will open the information available for that location. When Info, Photos & Reviews is available, tap it to view the Google Maps listing for additional details, photos and reviews.

Tap My Location. Your phone must have location services turned on and Wehamba must have permission to use your location.

Wehamba loads locations for the part of the map you are viewing. Some areas also have more participating or known locations than others. Move or zoom the map, or search another town, to explore a different area.

No. Availability, rules, hours, fees and overnight policies can change. Always review the location information and verify important details with the campground, business or property before relying on it for an overnight stay.

Attractions is a separate map for sightseeing and places you may want to visit while traveling. Keeping Attractions separate from the Camping map makes both maps easier to browse.

Tap Attractions in the top menu. Allow location access if you want the map centered near you, or use the search box to move the map to another town, city or area.

Tap the Attraction marker to open its available information. Use the Google information link when available if you want additional details, photos or reviews.

Yes. Open Trip Planner, create your route, select Attractions as a category and tap Find Locations. Review the results and use Add to Trip for the Attractions you want to visit.

Flattest Route helps you compare route choices with elevation and grade in mind. This can be useful when towing an RV or driving a heavier vehicle and you want to understand the terrain before choosing a route.

Enter your Start and Destination and select the correct location suggestions. Plan the route, then review the route choices and elevation information shown by the tool.

The route choices emphasize different goals. Flattest looks for a route with terrain in mind, Faster emphasizes travel time, and Shortest emphasizes distance. The routes may overlap or may take noticeably different roads.

The chart shows how the elevation changes along the selected route. Use it to see where climbs and descents occur and to compare the terrain of different route choices.

No. It is a planning aid. Road restrictions, construction, grades and conditions can change. Check current road information, posted signs and any restrictions that apply to your RV before traveling.

Low Bridges helps RV travelers check a planned route for known low-clearance locations. It is designed to give you another warning before traveling with a tall RV, fifth wheel or motorhome.

Enter your route information and your RV height as requested by the planner, then run the route check. Review the bridge markers and warnings that appear along or near the route.

The planner uses different marker and warning levels to draw attention to known clearance information. Tap a marker to review the available clearance details before deciding whether the route is appropriate for your vehicle.

Your RV height helps you compare your vehicle with known bridge clearances. Use the actual maximum height of your RV, including roof-mounted equipment such as air conditioners, antennas or other accessories.

No. Clearance data, resurfacing, construction and road conditions can change. Always obey posted clearance signs and official restrictions. If a posted sign conflicts with the app, follow the posted sign and choose another route.

Weather Center brings together travel-weather tools such as radar, forecast information and route-related weather awareness so you can check conditions before and during a trip.

Open Weather Center and enable its GPS/location option. Allow location access on your phone if requested. The map can then use your current position as a reference.

Yes. Use the location search to enter another town or area. This is useful for checking weather ahead of you instead of only seeing conditions where you are now.

Make sure Location Services are turned on for your phone and that Wehamba has permission to use your location. If permission was denied earlier, enable it in your phone settings and reopen Weather Center.

Use it as a planning aid and check current official alerts when severe weather is possible. Weather can change quickly, especially along a long RV route.

Nearby Services helps you look for useful businesses and emergency or travel-related services when you are on the road. Examples can include RV repair, mobile tire help, towing, fuel, medical care, veterinarians, pharmacies and restaurants.

Open Services from the bottom menu, choose the type of service you need and use Live Location. Allow location access if your phone asks. Select your search radius if that option is available, then run the search.

Yes. Choose the service you need, then search for a town or city instead of using Live Location. This is useful when you want to find help farther down the road before you get there.

Turn on Open now only when you want results limited to businesses reported as currently open. Business hours can change, so call the business if timing is important.

Open the service result card. When available, you can use the displayed phone information or open the Google listing for more details and directions.

Business listings, hours, phone numbers and availability can change. Nearby Services uses third-party place information, so verify important details directly with the business before driving there.

First make sure Location Services are turned on for your phone. Then make sure Wehamba has permission to use your location. Return to the map and tap My Location or the feature's GPS button again.

Give the map a moment to finish loading, then tap My Location again. If it still does not move, check your phone's location permission and GPS setting, close and reopen the page, and try again.

Close and reopen that page first. If it still looks blank, return to another Wehamba page and open it again. Also make sure your phone has an internet connection because maps and place information require online data.

Refresh or reopen the page so Wehamba can load the latest web content. If you have had the app open for a long time, fully closing and reopening the app can also refresh the current content.

Travel and business information can change. Verify anything important before relying on it, then use Contact to tell us what appears incorrect so we can investigate the listing or data.
